Cookies we set ourselves
These are set by Gazette Search. The first three are necessary for the site to work and are set whatever you choose in the consent banner — without them you cannot stay signed in, and we cannot record your cookie choice.

Cookies set only if you accept
If you choose Accept, we allow Google to set cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. If you choose Reject, these are not set, and any that already exist are deleted.

How we ask
Analytics and advertising cookies are switched off until you choose. We use Google’s consent mode, set to deny analytics and advertising storage by default, and only switch it on if you press Accept. Nothing is inferred from you scrolling, browsing or ignoring the banner — consent has to be an active choice.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw consent at any time, and it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give:
- Delete the
cookie_consentcookie in your browser settings. The banner will appear again on your next visit and you can choose Reject. - Or block or delete cookies for this site entirely in your browser. Every major browser allows this from its privacy or site-settings menu.
Choosing Reject also deletes any Google Analytics cookies already stored for this site.
Rejecting analytics and advertising cookies does not limit your access to anything. Search, results and your account all work exactly the same.
